Davy has reluctantly been forced to make the decision to sit out this weekends Mid Antrim 150 due to a lack of finances. Although he had an excellent TT it costs a lot of money especially after doing over 1300 miles and he now does not have the finance available to race this weekend.

A frustrated and disappointed Davy speaking on Thursday afternoon; "To say i am gutted is an understatement, this is the first time in my career that finance has dictated that i can't race. I want to make it clear that i have terrific sponsors who provide me with excellent machinery, but i have to raise some of the running costs for the team and with not being able to get a job during the winter what little i have has run out. I want to apologise to all my sponsors and supporters for not being at Clough.

I also wish to pass my apologies on to the Mid Antrim Club and hope that they have a safe and successful weekend, please support them by buying a programme and you might get a little read about me. Hope to see you all sooner rather than later."
