It was another solid night with another
three laps completed with only a few small
issues to resolve. Davy did 117.264 mph
on CSC R6 Yamaha, 118.021mph on DM#71RRSC
BMW and 120.593mph on Strangford Holiday
Park Suzuki. And any chance of a fourth
lap was gone when a heavy sea mist rolled
in and the session was cut short.
Davy commented later; “More
laps and things are going the right way,
i got the 120mph on the Suzuki despite
a lot of traffic and the road looking
damp on the mountain with the light mist.
The R6 needs a gearing change and we are
now definitely going the right way with
the BMW, we will put heavier oil in the
forks tomorrow to see if it helps the
front end being so lively. Hopefully now
it will be small adjustments and just
continue to get faster ahead of the first
race on Saturday”
