It was a shortened second night for Davy at the Southern 100 before racing even started as a look at the Davy Morgan #71 RRSC 250cc Honda had siezed and therefore out of action this week. There was better news on the Strangford Holiday Park/Leisure Services Suzuki as the work done earlier today seemed to have solved the problems and Davy claimed an excellent eighth place finish in the Senior Race.

Davy's final outing was in the 600cc Race on the CSC Branson R6 Yamaha and after a smashing start he found himself in ninth in a group with Lougher, Kneen and Cummins, but it was short lived as an incident on track brought the red flags out and an abandonment of racing.

Davy speaking afterwards, "A real mixed bag today with first the bad news about the 250, then a good result on the Suzuki and then the abandonment of the 600 race after i had made a good start. I was wary of the Suzuki with the oil leak, but it went okay and hopefully i can up my lap speeds tomorrow now that the problem seems to be sorted. The 600 Race stoppage was unavoidable, but i had made a good start and was confident of another solid top ten finish. The 250 is a real issue and it means i have only two races tomorrow and probably will have no 250 for Kells at the weekend unless someone out there has a competitive machine they would let me ride for them."
