The mechanical gremlins struck again as Davy again failed to get any decent track time on the Island's Mountain Course. After the trials of practice week the team did not think it could get any worse, but they were wrong.

After a late night to get to the bottom of the Strangford Holiday Par/Leisure Services electrical problem from friday's practice the team eventually got to bed at 2am on Saturday morning. Alas it was all to no avail as the fuel pump packed up as Davy headed off the start line and he retired at Quarterbridge. Race Over.

With another engine in the CSC Branson R6 Yamaha, Davy was hoping to get a lap on each of the Superstock and Supersport machines. On the BMW Stocker he did get a lap completed at 119mph, but once again the gremlins struck as the R6 Yamaha broke down on the mountain to bring to an end another dissappointing day.

Davy commented, " I just don't know were to turn, just when you thought it could not get any worse it does. I came to the TT with high hopes of bettering my lap times in all three classes, but thats not going to happen as i just have not got enough track time. I am sorry for my sponsors and supporters who faithfully support me, but this is all beyond my control. Its actually got to the stage were i have now no Supersport machine as we have no engine. I have been kindly offered one, but we do not have the money required as we have already eaten in to our budget for the rest of the year and are in real danger of not being able to keep racing as i am not going to spend money i do not have. Its a total nightmare."
