| With the unfortunate circumstances
in the Junior MGP Race and subsequent
abandonment of the days racing, Davy's
next outing would be on the CSC Branson
560cc Honda in the Senior Classic - Formula
750cc Race now to be run on Thursday.
Everyone at Davy Morgan Racing would like
to offer their condolences to the family
and friends of the two riders who lost
their lives.
The race again started well and at Glen
Helen on the opening lap Davy was lying
in third place and everyone was hopeful
of a good run, but it was again not to
be as the the breather bottle filled with
oil, meaning that there was a problem
and a another frustrating retirement this
time at the end of the Cronk'y'voddy straight.
Day over and only Fridays Lightweight
Race to go.
The plan for friday's Lightweight Race
was to go off steady and try and stay
with the leaders on the opening laps and
if still in with a shout after the pit
stop to go for it on the final two laps.
It all went well on the first lap as Davy
led at Glen Helen and pre-race favourrite
Dan Sayle was a retirement. By Ramsey
Davy was in second place behind Neil Kent
by only a handful of seconds, but by the
end of the lap Davy had pulled Kent's
lead back to 0.57 seconds and the race
plan was as they say going to plan. Then
on lap two Kent went through Glen Helen,
but Davy was late and eventually went
through 10 seconds down on the leader,
but 40 seconds clear of third place. That
was to be it as he never reached the Ballaugh
check point and was posted as a retirement.

The Mannmade group 250cc
Honda had overheated and lost power on
the run up the west side of the island
giving the Saintfield Lorry Driver no
choice other than to pull in and bring
his 2010 Manx Grand Prix to an abrupt
end.
Speaking on Friday afternoon a frustrated
Davy commented, "I am dissappointed
for the whole team, everyone has worked
so hard over the past fortnight and we
have nothing to show for it, not even
one finish. Steve (Caffyn) puts a lot
of time and money in to the classic's
and we just wanted to get them home, but
again i am really annoyed that i have
not been able to do that for him. The
Lightweight race i thought we would have
at least finished, but the wee Honda overheated
and lost power, which it has never done
before and at the moment we have no idea
why. I am sorry for Kevin, Angela (Wood)
and mannmade group who sponsored this
effort and i am sure it would have been
at least a podium so a big thankyou to
them and an even bigger sorry that i was
not able to bring it home. My trips to
the Isle of Man this year other than the
two superbike runs at the TT have been
a total disaster, if there was a bost
home now i would be off, but we have to
wait until Sunday morning, then come Monday
get ready for Killalane next weekend and
hope for a change of fortune".
