| It was better weather
in the Isle of Man for the Manx Grand
Prix on Wednesday night as Davy Morgan
looked to get some more laps on the CSC
Branson 350cc & 560cc Honda's, Rick
Abbotts 1045cc Kawasaki and the Mannmade
sponsored 250cc Honda.
It was to be a good night for the team
with three laps completed out of three
laps started as Davy managed to get the
350cc Junior Classic CSC Branson Honda
round at 88.171mph, the 560cc Senior Classic
500-1000cc CSC Branson Honda at 96.368mph
and the Mannmade Group 250cc Honda at
108.020mph in near perfect conditions.
With the Post Classic Kawsaki not ready
after Mondays breakdown that was the end
of proceedings for Davy Morgan Racing.
Thursday night was again held in near
perfect conditions and an opening lap
of 93.738mph on the CSC Branson 350cc
Honda was fifth quickest in the class
and Davy's quickest of the week on the
little Honda. The 560cc CSC Branson Honda
was next down Bray Hill, but there was
dissappointment when it stopped and Davy
retired at Sarah's Cottage.

That was the evening over
as the Kawasaki was still not ready to
go and there was no plan to take the mannmade
Lightweight Honda out again until Friday's
session.
Speaking on Thursday night Davy commented,
"We are getting there and its
been a reasonably good couple of nights
and we now have three of the four bikes
qualified, with another breakdown on the
560CC Honda the only real disappointment,
we think with a dead wire. Although we
do need to sort out the 350 machine as
i am riding it really hard and it feels
dead so there is something not quite right,
but we will get to the bottom of it. Rick
Abbots Kawasaki is the only real problem
now, we hope to have it ready for tomorrow
(Friday) and we will give it a go, but
if it breaks again that will proabably
be it parked for this year. We have two
more practice sessions and then its in
to racing and really want to get some
finishes and good results this year to
reward the guys and Steve (Caffyn) especially
for all their hard work."
