| It was off to the Isle
of Man for the Manx Grand Prix next for
Davy Morgan Racing and a busy fortnight
with outings on the CSC Branson 350cc
& 560cc Honda's, Rick Abbotts 1045cc
Kawasaki and the Mannmade sponsored 250cc
Honda.
First practice was on Saturday and in
less than favourable conditions the first
bike to Glencutchery Road was the 560cc
CSC Branson Honda and things were going
well until it blew the engine on the mountain
mile and with not being able to get back
that was the night over and a cold wait
until after practice.
Nexrt practice was monday and again conditions
were not great and it was the start of
the timed sessions and it was the Rick
Abbott prepared Post Classic Kawasaki
that Davy set off on down Bray Hill, unfortunately
there was more dissappointment as it wrecked
itself and a retirement at Grebba,

With two nights gone and
no bikes qualified, Tuesday was an important
night for the team and it all went well.
First up was the 350cc CSC Branson Honda
in the Junior Classic Class and this time
Davy managed to get around to complete
a lap at 90.745mph and more importantly
get a bike qualified. It was straight
of the 350cc Honda and out on the 560cc
CSC Branson Honda and again it was to
be another solid run with a lap at 88.990mph.
So two bikes qualified and solid nights
work by everyone involved.
Speaking on Tuesday night Davy commented,
"A satisfying nights work, the
fortnight certainly did not start well
and we really needed to get bikes qualified
tonight to take the pressure off a bit.
The wee honda's were going well, but i
was not pushing too hard as i needed to
get them round. I don't know what is going
to happen with the Kawasaki as it wrecked
itself big time on Monday and Rick is
working hard to get it sorted. If the
conditions are good tomorrow we will get
a run on the 250cc Honda and see how it
goes from there."
