| Davy was back
on the Isle of Man to tackle the mountain
Circuit on the CSC Branson 498cc Drixton
Honda and the RJP Racing 249cc Suzuki
T20 at the Manx Grand Prix. |
It was to prove a trying
fortnight as machine problems throughout
meant that there was a severe lack of
track time to get the full feel of the
bikes. Despite the problems he got enough
laps to qualify and was in the top fifteen
times on the CSC Branson Honda in the
Senior Classic and was in the top ten
in Lightweight Classic on the RJP Suzuki.
In the races it was a retirement on lap
one in the Senior Race and a retirement
on lap two in the Lightweight Race, so
disappointment and frustration all round.
Speaking later Davy said, “A
disappointing fortnight, I just can’t
get these classic’s to be reliable.
I would like to thank CSC Racing and RJP
Racing for the opportunity to ride their
bikes.” |
