On Saturday evening Davy and the team headed to the south of the island for the Post TT Steam Packet Races around the Billown Circuit armed with his 1000cc & 250cc Hondas.

In the combined 600cc/250cc Race on the Ballgowan RRSC backed 250 Honda, it was a steady ride as he could not match the pace of the Honda’s of William Dunlop and circuit specialist Chris Palmer and had to settle for a comfortable third place in the 250cc Race. In the Open Race on the Investasure Fireblade it was a solid twelfth place finish in an un-eventful race from Davy’s perspective with the misfire still evident slowing the pace he would like to be running at.

A frustrated Davy said afterwards, “The TT was a disaster for us and I was really looking forward to getting home, but I had promised the organisers that I would ride at Billown. The 250 is just not quick enough and we still have a problem with the big bike, which we need to resolve before Bush”.
